The recent Handle with Extra Care concert, performed by our own Minster Singers and Players, raised over £500 for charity, equally divided between the Minster Choirs and Cancer Research. The Minster’s share of the proceeds will be seen, shortly, in the form of new robes for our growing choir.
On Friday 14th September at 7.30pm. The concert is a charity classical concert featuring members of the Minster’s own Minster singers and orchestral players forming the Minster Player and talented local soloists. The programme includes popular and familiar works such as Handel’s Zadok the Priest, the opening of Vivaldi’s famous Gloria. Tickets are £8 and will be available on the door and online in advance from tinyurl.com/Handel14sept (booking fees apply online). All profits from the concert will be split equally between Cancer Research UK & the Choirs of Grimsby Minster. Details about the concert will be shared on the Minster Choirs’ facebook page: facebook.com/minsterchoirs.
