On Friday 14th September at 7.30pm. The concert is a charity classical concert featuring members of the Minster’s own Minster singers and orchestral players forming the Minster Player and talented local soloists. The programme includes popular and familiar works such as Handel’s Zadok the Priest, the opening of Vivaldi’s famous Gloria. Tickets are £8 and will be available on the door and online in advance from tinyurl.com/Handel14sept (booking fees apply online). All profits from the concert will be split equally between Cancer Research UK & the Choirs of Grimsby Minster. Thursday 6th September 2018, sees the latest in popular monthly concert series at Grimsby Minster. The concert will feature Organist Paul Dewhurst, who holds the prestigious position of Director of Music of Leeds Minster and features a wide range of music which suits the Minster’s mighty organ perfectly. Paul is an imaginative and skilled organist guaranteed to play an interesting and entertaining programme.
The Concert begins at 12.30pm and last for 45 minutes, making it a perfect way to spend the lunch hour. Admission is free, with a retiring collection.
