The annual Lost Fishermen’s Memorial Service at Grimsby Minster on 7th October 2018 at 2.00pm

Last year hundreds of people came together to pay their respects to the town’s lost fishermen at a poignant memorial service.

Standard bearers, the area’s local MP’s and relatives of those who perished at sea both during the war and in the town’s fishing heyday were among the congregation at the annual service held at Grimsby Minster on Sunday afternoon.

Those in attendance sang hymns and read prayers for the brave lives lost while working in often perilous conditions out at sea.

Please come and join us again this year to pay your respects and remember those we lost.
